5 Winning Chicken Breast Recipes [Chef Approved]

Chicken can do it all. This versatile meat is really quite the overachiever. Not only is it loaded with plenty of protein, but it can be dressed up into something fancy or made into a simple everyday dish. There is almost nothing that chicken can’t do. If you find yourself getting bored of the same chicken dishes over and over again, perhaps a little chicken change will do you good. There is no need to make a bland chicken breast when there are so many options to dress it up. Swiss Chicken  

  • Take four boneless skinless chicken breasts and place them in the slow cooker 
  • Add a cup of chicken broth and one brick of cream cheese cut into cubes 
  • Slow cook for four to six hours
  • During the last hour, stir the broth, and add a slice of swiss to each breast
  • Serve when cheese is melted
  • Add a side of steamed garlic butter broccoli 


Apricot Glazed Chicken

  • To make the glaze, mix ¾ cup of apricot jam with 1/3 cup of white vinegar, two tablespoons of soy sauce and a pinch of cayenne 
  • Whisk until mixed and set aside
  • Cook four chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper in a hot cast iron pan with some olive oil
  • Flip after about eight minutes 
  • When cooked completely, spoon the apricot glaze over top and serve


Bacon Wrapped Chicken


It is certainly true that bacon makes everything better, and chicken is no exception.

  • Wrap four chicken breasts in bacon and place them in the slow cooker 
  • Cook for four to six hours on low 
  • Remove the wrapped breasts and place them under the broiler to crisp the bacon prior to serving  
  • Serve with a fresh green salad


Chicken Stir Fry

  • Dice two chicken breasts and toss them in a hot frying pan with coconut oil 
  • Add snow peas, asparagus, red bell pepper, and one onion 
  • When chicken is thoroughly cooked, serve over white rice and finish with a drizzle of your favorite teriyaki sauce


Chicken Sandwich


Beef does not need to have all the fun! 

  • Give the chicken breast a few smacks with the tenderizer, and season it with salt and pepper 
  • Grill on both sides until cooked completely 
  • Serve on a bun with crispy lettuce, pickles, mustard, and a slice of tomato 
  • Add any sides that you would usually serve with a burger such as fries or a bag of chips
